Holiday Party Look 2016
Tis the season to slay somebody's Christmas party.fa la la la (you get the point). So today's little post is all about getting you ready for your Holiday parties! Over the years I've grown to love the winter holidays for fashion purposes! So here are my three things I need you to do for a successful holiday party look!
Be Timeless- This is probably the biggest factor I consider when getting dressed for anything. You always want to be timeless and create a look that is ever-in style. If you really think about it, the holidays are when you actually snap those photos that always circulate into photo albums and are pulled out years down the line. All I'm saying is let's make sure these #Throwbackthursday potentials are ones that we can be proud of!
Mix it Up-Holiday parties are the perfect occasions to pull out those crazy prints, bizarre textures, and of course festive accessories. Incorporating those aspects with timeless pieces creates a unique look over all.
Strike a Pose -Make sure you get somebody to snap some good photos of you whether that be on a phone or a camera. The year is definitely winding up and we need to end 2016 with a bang, besides its good to look back and see how your fashion has evolved over the years. In addition snap some photos because I want to post some of my readers Holiday looks on the blog. (submit at RashadSherman@PolishedWell.com)
These are the three rules that played as factors for my look holiday party look. I kept it timeless with a shawl lapel and black bow tie all while mixing it up with an emerald color for the blazer as well as the fur. Check out my gallery and get all the look details below!
